Fulton Station

Fulton Station is in downtown New York. There are several entrances and this seems newer than the rest. We were suppose to meet some people near here and while we walked inside to get a few shots of the architecture. Just one of a million locations to shoot in Manhattan.

Romantic Sunset at Battery Park

Last Friday, Battery Park in lower Manhattan was the place to be as the week ended with a warm breeze and spectacular sunset. I was busy clicking away when this couple came up and me asked to take their picture and email it later. When I got home I realized that I had them out of focus. Arrrrg!!! Lucky enough I had taken this shot with them in it a few minutes earlier. It was an amateur mistake, but hopefully they can take this image as a memory of that moment together during one of the most romantic sunsets of the season.

Last Stop Brooklyn

This weekend I was in New York City for a photowalk with some colleagues at the Arcanum. It was a busy weekend with many stops at iconic locations in lower Manhattan, midtown and Brooklyn. On Saturday we estimated walking between fifteen to twenty miles. This was the last stop of the evening after crossing the Brooklyn Bridge in the afternoon. It was a fitting end to a day that began before sunrise at the opposite end of this same bridge.

911 Museum

Last summer I was at the 911 memorial right after it opened to the public. These people are looking into into the museum which is all underground and above them In the glass is the reflection of the newly constructed freedom tower.
